If you have a build up of sludge and slime in your freezer, there will be a very strong odour and to prevent this, start by using a vinegar solution to clean the pan.
Grime can clog the drain tubes, which will cause an overflow in your defrost system which will eventually start leaking. If you notice there being calcium or water spots on the outside of the hoses clean them immediately. To prevent this check the tubes every couple of months and if not every month.
Clean Condenser Coil
Maintaining a clean condenser coil will prevent the temperature rising up and affecting other parts of a 4 door display freezer. This is simple, you just need to keep the condenser coil dust and dirt free, just remember to plug the freezer of the grid so you don't get electrocuted. A stiff bristle brush will be enough but if you have dust stuck on the condenser coil then you should use a powerful enough vacuum or air compressor. To prevent this from getting out of hand a routine cleaning session every three months is all you need to do.
